What mum at age 34, says after having given birth to quadruplets, before she had 13 children

A 34-year-old 13-year-old mother, Hauwa'u Sulaiman, bore a set of quadruplets at Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Zaria, Kaduna State. Sulaiman told Nigeria News Agency on Tuesday she is now gifted with 17 kids. 

At delivery, the mother and the babies were transferred for better care to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital. But she said the only male among the quadruplets died before they reached ABUTH. Sulaiman said the remaining three babies were placed under analysis at the hospital's pediatric care unit while she was getting medical care at the maternity room.

"I'm very healthy and fit but the medical professionals have advised that I need to be very well supervised before they can discharge me," she said. Her husband, Sulaiman Mohammed, also said his wife had given birth to two sets of triplets in the past; two sets of twins and three single babies before the quadruplets at different times. 

A driver, Mohammed expressed his gratitude to God for the babies' wonderful gifts. Also, Isa Abdulkadir, leading consultant at ABUTH's pediatrics unit, said the babies were in perfect shape.
