300 UNICAL level student killed as generator explode in Calabar

A 300-level student from Calabar University, Umo Aniekpeno, has reportedly been burned to death by a generator explosion in Calabar, the capital of Cross River State.

It was gathered that the student of Human Anatomy Department, Basics Medical Sciences Faculty, died after the generator exploded at the weekend home of her parents.

The deceased was identified as a committed student by a classmate, Miracle Ebube, who reported the incident on Saturday September 19.

"I've been waiting patiently to see myself wake up from this awful dream but it's dawning on me that you've gone for real, Annie. That makes things more terrifying as the fear of that captured me. Annie was so reserved. So committed to studies. A great medic, absolute. Annie, that wasn't the plan,"

"It was never a fantasy to lie lifeless. "In a few years to come, this was meant to be congratulations, not this heartbreaking verse we're all typing under" RIP. Not after all the hardship we've been going through since our 1st year at Medical College. I can't believe I'm saying goodbye, really.

"It keeps filling my mind with memories of you as I wonder if this ever happened to you. That was going to be my last time seeing you. I never expected that. He never knew this was going to be my last chat with you. We never have stuff that we've always wanted. In the arms of the Almighty, I can only wish you a complete rest. I'll be missing you forever, Annie. Anatomy Year 3 will miss you forever. Rest in heaven Terrific spirit. She has published
